Scouts follow a well-devised program especially suited to their level of development. Scouts learn, through their organisation into smaller units (Patrols), to handle themselves in a variety of environments.

The promise and law provides moral and ethical targets and a foundation for a responsible role within the wider society.

Camping and adventurous outdoor activities form an important part of the scout program. Through participation in the award scheme, scouts develop self-control, goal-setting, physical and citizenship skills, an awareness of community service and spirtitual values, and concern for the environment.

What to do next:

We currently have space for new scouts (girls and boys aged 10 to 14) to join the troop.

We offer 3 FREE introductory nights so that your son or daughter can come along and "Try Scouting" and you can meet the Leaders before deciding to join.

You can use this contact form now to contact our Group Leader for more information.
